NorthCan Roofing Client Reviews
Where to read what clients say about our commercial flat roofing work, how the feedback is collected, and how to leave your own.
Client reviews of NorthCan Roofing are published on our Google Business Profile, where each one is tied to a Google account and cannot be edited by us. Reviews shown on this page are pulled from that profile. To leave feedback after a project, use the link below or email info@northcanroofing.com.
Where can you read our reviews?
On our Google Business Profile. That is the single place we point people to, and it is deliberate.
A Google review is attached to a real account and visible to everyone including us, and we cannot edit it, reorder it or quietly remove the one we would rather nobody read. A quotation typed onto a roofing company's own website has none of those properties, so we send you to the source instead.
The reviews shown on this page are drawn from that profile. Any rating or review count is read on Google itself, where it is dated and verifiable rather than typed in by us, and it is linked back to the profile so you can check it against the original.
How does NorthCan collect feedback?
Simply, and after the work rather than during it.
- Close-out walk. Every project ends with a walk of the completed roof with your representative, plus a photo record of the finished details. Anything raised at that point gets dealt with before we consider the job closed.
- Follow-up. After the file is closed we ask the person who managed the project from your side how it went: the assessment, the written quote, the site conduct, the communication during the work, and the finished roof.
- Invitation to review. If you are willing to put that in public, we ask you to post it on the Google Business Profile. We do not draft it, we do not offer anything in exchange for it, and we do not screen it before it goes up.
- Complaints route the same way. If something went wrong, we would rather hear it directly and fix it. Call 416-456-0777 or email info@northcanroofing.com and it goes to the person who ran the job.
We do not incentivise reviews. Nothing is discounted, gifted or drawn for in return for feedback, and no review is solicited from anyone who has not actually had work done.
What is worth reading in a roofing review?
Commercial roofing reviews are more useful than most, because the people writing them are professionals describing a process rather than consumers describing a feeling. When you read ours, or anyone's, the informative parts are usually these:
- Did the diagnosis hold up? Was the problem the contractor identified actually the problem, and did the repair stop the water.
- Did the scope survive contact with the roof? Roofing scopes change when the deck is opened. What matters is whether the change was explained, evidenced and authorised, or discovered on an invoice.
- How did the site run? Debris, access, noise, tenant impact, whether the crew turned up when it said it would.
- Was the paperwork usable? For a property manager, a report that can be forwarded to an owner without rewriting is a large part of the value.
A review that only says the roof looks good tells you very little, because from the ground every finished roof looks good.
How do you leave a review?
Search for NorthCan Roofing on Google Maps or Google Search and use the review option on the business profile, or follow the link on this page to go straight there. It takes a couple of minutes and does not require you to name your building or your tenants if you would rather not.
If you would prefer to give feedback privately, or you want something corrected rather than published, email info@northcanroofing.com or call 416-456-0777. Private feedback is genuinely more useful to us than a public compliment, because it is the only kind that changes how the next job runs.
If you have not worked with us yet and you are trying to decide, the more informative pages are probably the project gallery, which shows the kind of work we do, and about NorthCan, which sets out how we run a site. When you are ready, book a free roof assessment or call 416-456-0777.
Frequently asked questions
Why are there no testimonials written out on this page?
Because a quotation on a company's own website cannot be verified by the person reading it. Reviews on the Google Business Profile are tied to real accounts, visible in full including the critical ones, and outside our control. We would rather send you somewhere you can check than print a selection here.
Do you offer anything in exchange for a review?
No. Nothing is discounted, gifted, entered into a draw or otherwise offered in return for feedback, and we never ask for a review from anyone who has not had work done. We also do not draft or edit what a client writes.
What happens if a client posts a negative review?
It stays up, and the person who ran the job responds to it. Commercial roofing involves opened decks, changed scopes and occupied buildings, so things do go wrong. What a prospective client can reasonably judge us on is whether the response was factual and whether the problem was fixed.
Can you provide references for commercial projects?
Yes, arranged directly and with the referring client's agreement. For a property manager assessing a contractor, a fifteen minute conversation with someone who has been through a phased re-roof on an occupied building is worth considerably more than any written review.
